cafes & restaurants & catering – suggestions

SELF CATERING: Each cottage is equipped with a well stocked kitchen - electric stove and oven, microwave, gas bbq, and all cooking utensils. If you decide to self cater – you should buy groceries before you arrive in the region – as there are limited grocery options in our town. (We suggest you grocery shop in Colac/Apollo Bay/or bring provisions with you).

The cottages have a selection of teas, plunger coffee, instant coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper - and you are very welcome to collect some fresh eggs from the chickens. There is also a herb garden.

We can provide a breakfast basket of provisions if you like - a basic continental breakfast basket with bread, milk, juice, cereals, butter, honey & home made jam, and fresh fruit @ $15 per person for 2 mornings.  Let us know in advance (at least 7 days) if you would like us to prepare these ingredients for you.

DINING IN: One option is to buy prepared meals - takeaway pizza, or a selection of pastries from various local cafes and bring it back to your cottage for reheating in the oven. Or, you can contact a local café, liaise directly with a chef, and order a selection of meals to be delivered to your cottage – ready to place in the oven, on the bbq, or serve direct from the refrigerator to the table.
