What are the farm activities?  Guests are welcome to explore the farm, collect eggs from the chicken & duck house, pick fruit from the orchard, and pick fresh berries, (seasonal)  herbs and salad from the guests produce garden.  We’d be happy to introduce you to various friendly farm animals ~ Pet sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, farm dogs, donkey, ponies, the Alpacas. We provide a bucket of animal feed which we replenish as needed so that you are free to pet and feed the animals when ever you like.  We are a working ‘sheep farm’ with approx 400 sheep on the property – work with our sheep is a seasonal occurance and happens from time to time.
Can we visit the farm for the day?.  Access to the farm is exclusive for guests staying in the cottages. We do not cater to ‘day visits’.
Do you provide meals?  We do not provide meals.  Guests  either ‘self cater’ or dine out.  Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils, oven/stove, gas BBQ & utensils and full size fridge/freezer, microwave.  Condiments include: drinking water, plunger coffee, instant coffee, selection of teas, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil.   Alternatively, our town is located 10 minutes up the road and has a range of cafes for dining out or take away.  With advanced notice, meals can also be ordered and delivered to your cottage by contacting local chefs (ask us to send sample menu’s).
How long is the drive from Melbourne?  Allow just under 3 hours if traveling to us from Melbourne via the Princes Highway.  If travelling to us via the very scenic great ocean road, don’t rush – as there’s scenic stops along the way - Allow approx 5 hours for an enjoyable, unrushed, scenic trip.  (travel times depend on traffic and road conditions).  On receipt of booking, we provide info on touring routes.
What are your tariffs?  Tariffs range from $170 per night through to $320 per night and depend on:
* Type of Cottage ( one bedroom - one bedroom spa - two bedroom)

Can you accommodate groups?.  Yes.  Groups of 6 or more people can be accommodated by booking multiple cottages – thus providing ample sleeping configurations and the comfort and amenity of multiple bathrooms.  We can accommodate upto 15 people in our four = 2 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 1 bedroom cottages.  Note:  Our two bedroom cottages accommodate a strict maximum of 5 people (including children/infants).
We don’t want to drive - Are there transport options available ?  Public transport - VLINE bus and trains - travel into the region from Melbourne – check the VLINE website for schedules (from Melbourne Southern Cross Station to Colac or Apollo Bay).  It may be possible to arrange a ‘private tour/driver’ service.  Ask us for contact details.  However, most guests self drive (either own vehicle or hire vehicle) as this is the most economical and easiest way to access the farm and visit nearby scenic attractions.
